In defiance of bad weather, the first event linked to the Author Apiary, conceived and coordinated by Ing Mauro Rutto, was held on the days, in collaboration with Ca del Cek and Hotel and Restaurant Il Bocciolo and with the free patronage of Unaapi, Apilombardia, Arpat Tuscany, Aspromiele, Ami Ambassadors of the Mieli and the apis.
It was two days full of events, focused on the exhibition of works of art, made on the fronts of the hive decorated by artists of different nationalities, also enriched by a small museum dedicated to bees, tastings themed and the presence speakers.

"Apiary d'Author" means actively intervening in support of the environment, safeguarding nature in the interests of all and a new way of displaying the apiary: not only a set of colorful "houses" placed chaotically on the territory but also a work of art that integrates harmoniously with the landscape.

"The Apiary d'Author" will be placed in the territory of the Municipality of Orta San Giulio, more precisely within the property of the Hotel Bocciolo.
Bees are responsible for much of the crop through pollination and are a cornerstone of nature's diet and balance. The disappearance of bees is a serious risk that must be avoided!
Giving a future to bees means giving a future to ourselves!
Vezzi Portio Municipality

The bee mueso of Vezzi Portio participates in the first edition of the project "Apiario d'Author" with inauguration on April 13-14, 2019 and conclusion 18-19 April 2020, also sponsored by the municipality of Vezzi Portio.
Some unique pieces of our museum will be exhibited in the municipality of Orta San Giulio, inside the Hotel Bocciolo property.
